To the Family of SSgt. Matthew Maupin, I have no words to express the sorrow I feel now, and as I have read of your family's courage during these past four years. I know that Matthew drew his own strength from you. God continue to give you strength and bless you for the family you have raised, and will be with in unity again. I will continue to keep you close in my thoughts, prayers and heart.

Thank you for the mission you gave to your life in protecting our freedoms, and striving to give others, theirs. The lives of you and the men and women who have gone before you are raised high, and not given in vain. I honor you, and pray that our children will learn to do the same throughout coming generations. God bless your family, and may they keep their memories alive and rejoice in the life of a hero.

Remembering my nephew and Godchild, LCpl. Matthew Snyder, KIA Iraq 3/3/06

Heartfelt condolences to the Family and Friends of SSG Keith Matthew Maupin. May your pain be tempered in the knowledge that Jason is a True American Hero and will never be forgotten. Thank you for your service, Sir. May you rest in peace!

Neither a medal, nor a nation's thanks, can compensate for such a loss or fully honor such devotion and self-sacrifice. At best, we can promise to never forget Matt, and be determined to support all our men and women in uniform and to hold up our end of the bargain as long as we can.

My condolences to the family and friends of SSG "Matt" Maupin. Words are lacking to express the sorrow I feel for your loss.

I have followed the reports closely, as my children went to school with yours...and it was with great sadness that I learned of this turn of events.

We are proud to have young men like Matt standing to fight for our country and I will proudly ride in memory of Matt (and the other fallen heroes) on this mission.

Nightly, before he recently died, Bear would lead us in prayer for all of our service members--especially our missing, including SSG Maupin. Now our prayers carry them both home with love. I am so sorry for the loss of your son and brother. My heart breaks for you.

May your family be comforted with loving memories during these difficult times.

Blessings to you on your journey, Matt.
Prayers of PEACE for you and for your family.
