I would like to extend my deepest condolences to the family and friends of this American Hero who stood tall for his homeland in this very sad time in your lives, but remember that you knew a hero first hand while the rest of us just get to hear about their heroic deeds. I was praying that this wouldn't be the outcome ,but now you know he is with GOD and will never again suffer the pain that he must have suffered to secure our freedom. My prayers are that our GOD may bring peace and comfort to all of you during this tragic time. Please know that not just me , but a country full of people like me owe you a dept that can never be repaid. But please know that your loved one is now serving in the Army of our LORD in heaven, and the LORD said if I go to prepare a place for you, I will come again and recieve you unto myself that where I am there you may be also. Know that it says in the Bible in 2nd Corinthians 5:8 , we are confident I say , willing rather to be absent from the body and present with the LORD. No one can ever say that your loved one isn't a HERO, they were willing to serve that the rest of us may enjoy the freedom we do today, and the sacrifice you and your family have endured so our nation can remain the home of the free because of the brave. We are all brothers and sisters in arms and we don't forget one of our own, rest in peace my comrade, your mission is complete and now it's time for you to rest. May GOD Bless each and everyone of you.

To parents and friends of Keith, I extend my absolute sincere condolences. I have prayed for Keith the moment
I heard of his capture. As I have for all MIAs, I have tasted Freedom riding a Harley just about my whole life. I Worship
as I believe and am still able to freely assemble and speak, because of Keith. As the riding season approaches and I
taste that freedom again, I will always until my last day. Remember Keith and those Who Stood for Me, who held that
fragile line for all of us. We can never fully repay the cost , but we who taste the freedom will always remember !

Thank you SSGT Maupin, may your family & friends find comfort through others.
I have read through many of the condolence messages and they are without a doubt overwhelming.

"We'll shelter him with tenderness, we'll love him while we may. And for the happiness we've known, forever grateful stay. But shall the angels call for him much sooner than we've planned, We'll brave the bitter grief that comes and try to understand."

As all the other notes of condolences say it so much better than I can, I only add "I'm sorry for your loss". Matt was truly a hero and I pray perpetual light shine upon him now and forever. Keith and Carolyn, you must be so very proud of Matt and I only regret you cannot tell him now how much so. May God grant you serenity in these trying times. Standing by in Findlay.

To Maupin Family,

It is with profound sadness that I send my condolences to you and your family. Meer words can not express the gratitude that I have for the service of your fallen soldier. My prayer for you is that you find some small comfort, secure in the knowledge that I as an American and the Patriot Guard Riders as an organization will always remember your families sacrifice.

May God Bless You!

This is very difficult to type as I can not quite see the keys very well. Matt has ridden with me now for just a bit over 2 years. His picture that was sent to me by his parents at my request and resides to this day on the inside of my Goldwing window covered in clear packing tape so it does not get wet. He has ridden just a little over 32,000 miles with me. Now this year on the Run For The Wall, I will ride in remembrance of Matt and leave his picture at the Wall. Matt will be in good company and his combat brothers will welcome him to their ranks and forever more be a part of them.

To the parents of SSG Keith Matthew Maupin,
I want to say thank you for allowing me the privilege of carrying your Son for these past two years. He has always been an inspiration for me to ride in support of our troops. Now as we welcome him home and honor him and his service to this Country, I offer my condolences on the loss of a true American Hero.

A sad end to this life. I have kept an ear tuned to news reports, hoping for the better option to finding Matt. Of course my heart goes out to his folks, and friends too. As I work out of town thru the week, I may not make many PGR rides, but I am going to try hard to make this one, as long as my schedule will permit. God be with the family in times like this, you have paid a very high price to our country, as has Matt. Bless you.
