Anyone from NW Indiana going down monday morning or interested in sharing a room and making the trip down Sunday give me a yell.  Havn't made any reservations yet and it sounds like the place may be filling up...lets hope so!!
Hey CPO.....Was planning to head down Monday AM, but may consider a Sunday evening trip.

I'm in Schererville. Were you planning 2 wheels or 4?
My bike is not yet back together, so I will be heading out on 4 wheels.

Let me know if you'd like to get together....

Hoping to make it on 2 wheels, just started riding again after a long break and a little concerned about the weather.  Thats the main reason I'm thinking Sunday plus it sounds like enough going down then would make a nice evening together to get to know people beforehand.  Work for a utility here so will have to try and get the day off if I go Sunday but can't think of a better use of a vacation day.   Coming out of Hobart, IN.

This will be my first trip also and I will be coming from Fort Wayne.  I will see some of my fellow Three Rivers Chapter H.O.G. members tomorrow night and I'll see if I can't round up some more riders.

God Bless,

My fiancee and I will try to make this trip but it depends on the availablity of before school care for our oldest and babysitters for the younger two. If we are unable to attend, we will be there in spirit.

If you feel the need to burn the flag, please wrap yourself in it first..

Forgive me for being a noob but I am coming in from Noblesville, IN (about an hour south of kokomo) and am "caging" it because I have no other option.

My Dad is a Vietnam Vet and I support our Military and whether or not the idiots will be there I just want to support this family in their time of grief.  So, that being said should I just plan on being at the meeting place stated on the first page of messages at 0800?

Anything anyone can give me as far as the "lowdown" would be helpful.  I saw someone would have flags available, should I count on that or would bringing one be helpful?

My e-mail is joerobbins@aol.com

Thanks!!

Joe

Governor Daniels was just featured on the 5:00 news on WTHR and WISH TV stating if the demonstration bill reached the Statehouse, he would meet it at the front door and sign it, making any protestors guilty of a Class D Felony. It's something that I'd like to see before Monday, but regardless, we will be there in numbers supporting and honoring SGT. Rickey Jones and his family the way a hero should be honored. I know the push for this legislation is very heated now, and it can only be be attributed to another selfless action performed, this time posthumously, by SGT. Rickey Jones. God Bless his soul.

What an outstanding response, I am very proud of this entire organization and very proud to be a part of it.

Sarge, Onion,  as it looks right now, I intend on trying it on two wheels and will either meet up with you in Martinsville that morning or on the West end of Indy.  If the weather get to where I'm not willing to chance it on two wheels then I will meet you somewhere in Indy like we discussed before, we have a few days to figure out where that will be.

Is there someone in the Kokomo area that could alert us as to the condition of the weather as it changes?  As all of us Hoosiers know, if you don't like the weather here, wait about 5 minutes because it will change.  It would be very much appreciated and helpful to those of us that are outside of the area.

Again to all, outstanding.  Sgt. Jones, we are proud of you, America is proud of you.

We would be coming from Greencastle. What time is the Martinsville contigent leaving the area? We are going to be on four wheels, if we're able to make it, and would like to make this journey with others if possible. ar_rattler2002040@yahoo.com

There will be quite a few leaving from Indy.  I'm west of Indy and will go into 465 off 36 or 10th St.  I will probably be caging it for this one and have room for one passenger in my S-10.  If some have cars and want to meet up so everyone doesn't heve to drive maybe we can muster at the Lowes lot at 465 and W. 10th St.  We would need to leave there NLT 0630.  I'll be there if anyone else wants to ride-share. Bring your flags.

Okay. We'll be the two soccer mom mobile passengers in the National Guard gear. Or I'll be in the recruiting T shirt and wranglers, the other half will probably be in BDUs {he 'outgrew' his class A's} Going to go to whatever lengths it takes to be there.

What size flag and post do we need to bring? I'd love to bring the 'backup' flag from our Armory, but doubt I could get it through the chain of command by then...

Personally, I think whomever started the ball rolling for the demonstration bill, deserves a HUGE round of applause. And Gov. Mitch will get some good press when he signs the bill. Regardless of any distance requirements, the ug's will still make their presence known, and the PGR will make their presence known as well. We'll still be there for all the service men and women, their families, and friends, to pay respect and honor them for the ultimate sacrifice. Sounds like this will be one of the largest PGR turnouts for a military funeral. This will be my second mission, and I'm proud to part of the PGR.

Anyone from northern Indiana or farther north wishing to ride down with me, I will be leaving the McDonald's parking lot located at SR10 and US31 in Argos at exactly 0620 hrs. Monday. I will not be making any other stops along the way. Everyone riding - dress warm, and above all, be safe! As mentioned before - you do not have to ride a motorcycle, but you DO have to care!

Hugo, If you happen to be passing our location at Gallahan's Truck Stop US31/US24 at 7:15, we'd love to have ya in the bunch. I know you have to get down there earlier, but I thought just in case you're passing by at this time, the offer is there for ya.
