Jefferson City, MO to Kansas City, KS on Saturday, 2 SEP 06
We will be meeting pretty early to make the transfer to the Kansas PGR. They have better than 300 miles to get the stone to it's new home.
We will meet at the Missouri Capitol Building at 0630, fueled and ready to go. Kickstands up by 0700. We will travel to Columbia on 63N and head west on I-70. I'd like to make a fuel/rider stop at the Quick Trip in Oak Grove, MO. That's 130 miles, so we should be there around 0900; please send feed back on any concerns on getting there. It's a great place for an KC riders to join up. From there we will get back on I-70 to the State Avenue exit. Once off the highway, we can stop and put the big flags up for meeting at Cabela's. We want to be there by or better yet, before 1000. Hope to see as many members join us for this as possible.

This mission makes me both proud and humble to be a member of PGR. The efforts of so many to get this mission up and going is awesome. Be assured that this old cager is standing proud with head bowed. and that I am am on this mission with you all in spirit. Every mission I go on I know that I am riding with 51,000 plus |

I'm riding with the PGR from Jeff City to Kansas City. I'm heading up to Jeff Friday evening and will be there bright and early Saturday morning to see the PGR get the Pentagon Stone. After the ride and hopefully the handoff at Cabela's, I'll be heading back South toward Springfield and Lebanon, MO. If there's anyone who is heading that direction, I'd love to have company for as long as the road allows.
I also have a big map book of back roads in Missouri if anyone would like to look at it when we meet up.
Email if you feel the need.

I am planning on meeting the group at the QT in Oak Grove. I will be leaving form Independence, MO. If anyone is interested in hooking up or if there is a plan to meet somewhere I am available. I'm not a PGR Road Captian but I am one for the Greater Kansas City HOG Chapter. I would be glad to help in any way. If I hear nothing, I will just plan on being at the Quick Trip and fueled by 8:30AM this Saturday.

Hi Skye,
This had happened before and I had wondered what on earth was going on until it did it to me when i went to post....i think something sticks if you hit submit accidentially & will submit and as you continue typing it resubmits and resubmits...i finally shut down the IE & went back into thread before i got a full post...i think 3 for a particular thread went out when it happened to me....i felt bad as i knew it would hit everyones mailbox 3 times....but i did go into the thread and deleted the excess posts...

| Here is a photograph I just received from SGT. Michael B. Krieg, ING, of the Indiana group (plus one "Groundhogpmc" from Ohio) at the Pentagon stone mission. Lookin' good! SGT. Krieg will be sending me several CD's of the photographs he took on this day. Thank you SGT. Krieg for being there last Thursday and for taking the time out of your busy schedule to capture some very important memories for us. |

Shanksville, PA portion. Also, 4th post on page 9, "ultraclassic", he's
the WV RC that served as stone-bearer from Shanksville to WV. He has
some photos on snapfish from the PA portion into WV and that post has
the links.

Stretch will be standing by at the Cabelas parking lot. Plan to get there about 8-ish. Ruffy was supposed to open her shop Saturday morning because of Little Balkans festival. Now she's having second thoughts. She didn't know I was getting off work. So it might be 2 of us. Don't know for sure yet. Gotta love this acting supervisor I've got. Never thought for a moment he would let me off for this. Git-R-done !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
