A fellow region 9 member passed away this past week. If you have been on a
mission before you most likely have met him. His name is Edward Roufberg. His funeral will
be held this Wednesday (July 16) at 2 PM at Gutterman's FH(8000 Jericho
Tpke, Westbury). If you can attend the service and escort for this fellow
patriot, please do so.

Wed. July 16
The Hicksville staging area (Waldbaums shopping center-North Broadway/Route
106/107 - just south of the NSP exit 35 S and the LIE exit 41S) has a KSU
time of 1:15 PM

The Medford staging area (Lowes parking lot - behind 7-11 on route 112 just
north of the LIE at exit 64N) has a KSU time of 1:00 PM

Our heart-felt condolences to the Roufberg family and friends in the loss of Edward. Thank you for his service to this great country. Our prayers go out to God for you in this time of loss. Edward served to give us the freedom we now enjoy so much and for that he is one of the GREAT AMERICAN HEROS of the land. God bless your family and friends. Wish I could have shaken his hand and told him thank you myself.

My sincere condolences to the family and friends of PGR member Edward 'Crazy Ed' Roufberg.

'No Greater Love is this that a man is willing to lay down his life for another.' Only two men were willing to sacrifice their lives for us-Jesus Christ and the American Soldier. Neither of which can ever fully be repaid.

Thank you for your Service and my Freedoms. Your sacrifices will never go unnoticed. I am grateful to live in a country made up of volunteers like you. Your choice to protect our Nation and put your self on the line can never be repaid.
