The MN-PGR has been asked to stand in Honor for: Donald H. Ledin USN-Ret
My father-in-law just passed away at 94 years of age. He was one of the "Greatest Generation". He was in the Army National Guard prior to WWII. When the war began he joined the Navy and became an Aviator. He flew the Martin Mars, the largest flying boat in the air at the time, ferrying wounded soldiers from the South Pacific back to the mainland. After the war he continued his aviation career with the Naval Reserve at what is now the Air Force Reserve Base. He told many stories of his flying days which seemed like a combination of McCales Navy and the Black Sheep Squadron.
His internment is scheduled be at Fort Snelling on Monday 5 May, at 1400. If some folks are available to do a flag line it would be a fine tribute to a true Patriot
Thanks, Steve Moser SMSgt

Our sincere condolences to the family and friends of Donald H. Ledin, USN (ret), WWII Veteran. May God help you though this difficult time and sorrow. He is
one of America's Heroes that will never be forgotten.
Rest Safely and Securely in God's Loving Arms, Donald.
Going home, going home,
I'm just going home.
Quiet-like, slip away-
I'll be going home.
It's not far, just close by;
Jesus is the Door;
Work all done, laid aside,
Fear and grief no more.
Friends are there, waiting now.
He is waiting, too.
See His smile! See His hand!
He will lead me through.
Morning
Star lights the way;
Restless dream all done;
Shadows gone, break of day,
Life has just begun.
Every tear wiped away,
Pain and sickness gone;
Wide awake there with Him!
Peace goes on and on!
Going home, going home,
I'll be going home.
See the Light! See the Sun!
I'm just going home.
