MISSION UPDATE:  26 Oct 06 @ 8:00 PM

Services will be Friday, 27 OCT 06 also at the United Methodist Church starting at 10 am.  Bring kickstand placards if you have them.

Rally Point:  BP Gas Station, Exit 129 just south of I-70.

Rally Time:  8 am – 8:30 am

Ride Brief:  8:30 am

Kickstands up at 8:45 am.  Be gassed and ready to ride.

Visitation Complete - Joshua's visitation washeld on Thursday, 26 OCT at United Methodist Church, 700 N. Central Ave., Casey, IL from 2 pm till 8 pm.  A flag line has been requested.  Be at the church between 1:15 and 1:30 pm.

Escort Portion - Complete.  Any riders desiring to ride together from Casey, IL - meet at the BP Gas Station, Exit 129 just South of Interstate-70 at 4:00-4:30 pm.  The Escort Ride Captain (Randy Smith) will depart from their and be en route to Indianapolis.   All other rider are to rally up at the Radisson Hotel parking lot (at the airport) prior to going over to the Eli Lilly Terminal no later than 7:45 pm.

UPDATE:  23 OCT 06 - 3:11AM

Lance Corporal Hines’ will be escorted from the Indianapolis Airport Wednesday, 25 OCT 06 afternoon or evening to Markwell Funeral Home in Casey, IL.

State Police escorts have been arranged from Indianapolis Airport to Casey, IL (101 miles). 

Rally point and time at Indy will be announced.  Be gassed and ready to ride. 

Randy Smith (signalman6869@yahoo.com) will RC escort from Indy to Casey.

If you cannot make the escort but want to show your support, a flag line in Casey would be appreciated when we bring this son of Illinois home.  Times will be announced.

Visitation for Joshua will be held on Thursday, 26 OCT at United Methodist Church, 700 N. Central Ave., Casey, IL from 2 pm till 8 pm.  A flag line has been requested.

I-70 - Exit 129... Rt 49 South, only entrance is between Hardees and Citgo, west side of Rt49 South... Sits back behind Hardees a ways... 217-932-2212... They have been kind enough to extend the Govt. discount to PGR, just mention you are PGR... Single or double 59.00 plus tax.

Just putting this one up for economic reasons...

DOD Identifies Marine Casualties

 

The Department of Defense announced today the deaths of three Marines who were supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Lance Cpl. Joshua M. Hines, 26, of Olney, Ill., died Oct. 15 while conducting combat operations against enemy forces in Al Anbar province, Iraq. Hines was assigned to Marine Forces Reserve's 3rd Battalion, 24th Marines, 4th Marine Division, Terre Haute, Ind.

Sgt. Brock A. Babb, 40, of Evansville, Ind., died Oct. 15 while conducting combat operations against enemy forces in Al Anbar province, Iraq. Babb was assigned to Marine Forces Reserve's 3rd Battalion, 24th Marines, 4th Marine Division, Terre Haute, Ind.

Sgt. Jonathan J. Simpson, 25, of Rockport, Texas, died Oct. 14 while conducting combat operations against enemy forces in Al Anbar province, Iraq. Simpson was assigned to 1st Reconnaissance Battalion, 1st Marine Division, Camp Pendleton, Calif.

To the Parents of Lance Cpl. Hines , this is John Hunsell  your have my deepest regrets on the loss of your son. My family also lost our son Lance cpl J Kyle Price on Jan 13 2006 in Al Anbar . Only the parents of the fallen heros know the the deep pain and our hearts go out to you and your family . please dont hesitate to call on us . we will be there for you at all cost . remember your son is a true American hero!..GOD BLESS AMERICA
