I've got beds and garage space for a few riders if they would like to come in Friday night. Chris and Rose have dibs..after that?? Metro Decatur has plenty of motels, too. The parade route is about five miles with a top speed limit of 40 mph, so no problem for the big flags. I expect this will be a highly attended parade.

If you need any Decatur area info, let me know!

Today Frank and I made a dry run of the parade route with Dave.  I spoke with the Ombudsman in charge last evening.  Seems that Peoria and Champaign returnees will also be joining this centralized homecoming as well.  This is great news.  It will be bigger.  She has requested that because it will be bigger, she is requesting additional potluck type dishes be dropped off at the reserve center.  She definitely does not expect this of bikers but asked to put the word out.
