04 Jul 2006 10:50 AM Alert

Mission Itinerary: Funeral service Wed., July 5th, at 11 am, with burial to follow, at the Methodist church in Sebeka, Minn. Pre-ride staging/briefing to take place at American Legion club in Sebeka at 9:30 am. Ride Captain is Ted Storck, with the Minnesota PGR. Sebeka is approx. 2 hours SE of Fargo. From Fargo, take hwy. 10 to Wadena, then go north 14 miles on Hwy. 71  OR  Hwy 10 to Park Rapids, the 35 miles south on Hwy. 71. This is an 11th hour notification, and I apologize for that, but it would very much behoove all of the North Dakota members to participate if at all possible. Memorial service in Jamestown was very successful, and we thank all who participated. Thanks, in advance, for all our dedicated members who can make the mission in Sebeka tomorrow. I will send out an E mail to the ND membership with more details directly. Ride Safe!

After the Memorial service, I will be there if at all possible!
I have to see if I can get the time off work.
Paul's family definitely deserves our support and presence.
This obviously means a lot to them since they were originally keeping the funeral and interment private!

Is there anyone going from or through Fargo who wouldn't mind a passenger?

This is such a matter of sorrow. Words are so inadequate at a time like this, but I offer my heart-felt sympathy to the family and loved ones of Spc Paul Beyer. May God's Love and time ease the pain.

My sincere condolences to all those who mourn the passing of Spc. Beyer. I regret that I was unable to make this mission. My thoughts are with my fellow riders.

Those heroes who make the ultimate sacrifice do not pass on alone. They are carried from the fields of battle by the Valkyr to Valhall. Here they will live on with all those who have gone on before to await the final and ultimate battle, Ragnarök.
