To the Posivio family, words ease no pain. Even if they could they don't work well for me. Instead know this, you are never alone. Robert was and never will be alone, he is with the best.

Semper Fi

I will be there.

Standing by in Sanborn, IA. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends of LCpl Posivio. May our Lord wrap his arms around you and give you comfort and peace in this saddest of times.

The Blue-Line truck stop in Worthington would make an excellent rally point for a group ride to Sherburn. Anyone wanting to hook-up there, give a holler.

I saw this families story on WCCO news last evening, and my heat goes out to them. God Bless the memories of both your sons.

Planning a trip to MN from Nevada. Would like to make this mission if possible. Does anyone have an educated guess when the mission would be? My plans are somewhat flexible.

We have a confirmed mission to Sherbourne Mn. The Mankato and Marshall RC's met with the family and we are officially invited.

We do NOT have a date and time for the service as of yet, arrangements are still being made. It is anticipated the funeral will be sometime after Friday June 2nd and will be in Welcome Mn.

The Mankato and Marshall RC's have done a great job responding to this call.  They have done the preliminary checklist and have everything under control. The family is a riding family and has requested we ride "with" them in the procession.

Please, as I stated in the previous post, refrain from contacting the family and/or the family representatives for this service. Any and all information needed will be mass emailed out to you as soon as we have it from the lead RC. Relevent information will also be posted on this forum.

Let's keep this honorable with love and respect.

Jim (SC) and I thank each and every one of you that are "standing by" and all those coming on line.

I just got the email on the confirmation and I will be there to help lay to rest one of our fallen HERO'S. I am saddened that he as well as all of the other's that have not made it home safe as my nephew has. My nephew is home now after serving 18 months in Iraq & 12 months in Afghanistan. He himself is a Marine and proud of it and has re-upped for 8 more years. I myself will be proud to do this ride for one of his fallen brothers in arms. My son has also come home safe from Afghanistan as well as Iraq last year. He's a Navy man and is stationed in Japan at this time and has also re-upped for another 4 year stint. For these young MEN & WOMEN to stand up and perform there duty at a time like this vary well deserve the proper send off as Lance Cpl. Robert G. Posivio so well deserves. I am a vet as well and am proud of my service to my country. GOD BLESS THE POSIVIO FAMILY AS THEY HAVE GIVEN THE MOST ULTIMATE SACRIFICE FOR OUR FREEDOM AND OUR COUNTRY'S FREEDOM AS WELL AS OTHER'S FREEDOM.

And The LORD Said: My child, be not burdened by the grief which is consuming you. For my sons and daughters heard ME within their hearts and answered MY call. Raise your ears unto ME, for I have much to tell you. Though their hardships were great and their trials and tribulations abundant, I say unto you, they answered MY call. With their hearts heavy and their souls troubled for the ones they would leave behind to do unto ME, they answered MY call. I say unto you, MY beloved child, lift your burdens and your grief unto ME. I AM THE LORD, THY FATHER. MY sons and MY daughters are with me. I was with them as they fell. I answered their calls. I am with you now. Take comfort. MY children ascended unto ME on the wings of the Angel Michael and they sit at my right hand. Their hardships are over, their rewards are great, because they answered MY call. Trust in THE LORD, THY FATHER, surrender your burdens and your grief unto ME and I will provide for all who answer MY call. In memory of all who answered THE LORD'S call. Shanna Comparato

26 May 2006 2:18 PM Alert

Mn SC Jim Bono and I just completed a conference call with local law enforcement officials from the area to include Co. Sheriff and local Chiefs of Police.

The positive reception to our desire to come and pay respects was overwhelming from these officials. Sherburn and Welcome Mn are very small towns, the very heart of America, patriotism runs deep here. We will be in "good company" with all the LEO's and the local reserve unit.

It is imparritive that we make this mission "nothing less" than what the Mission Statement reads, anything less is "unacceptable".

This youg man served above and beyond the call as he was on a third assignment. Humility and respect is the order of the day as we support his family and honor his service.

Again, we are awaiting time and date and will post that information as we recieve it.

Respects,

Renne

hagtwo, amdbmyspace, 82nd, splashngo and every one else.

Thank you all. On behalf of the MN RC's and all of PGR, it warms all of our hearts to see so many of you ready to do the right thing and are standing by with honor and pride in your hearts.

We are moving things forward as fast as possible and progress has been made today on many fronts. Details along with staging locations will be rolled out as soon as possible.

Again, if you would like to do something in the meantime to help honor Lance Corporal Robert G. Posivio. Secure a flag.

Grunt, Thank you for seeing our boys home.

Jim
