05/25/2006 9:08 PM
We have a confirmed mission to Sherbourne Mn. The Mankato and Marshall RC's met with the family and we are officially invited.

We do NOT have a date and time for the service as of yet, arrangements are still being made. It is anticipated the funeral will be sometime after Friday June 2nd and will be in Welcome Mn.

The Mankato and Marshall RC's have done a great job responding to this call.  They have done the preliminary checklist and have everything under control. The family is a riding family and has requested we ride "with" them in the procession.

Please, as I stated in the previous post, refrain from contacting the family and/or the family representatives for this service. Any and all information needed will be mass emailed out to you as soon as we have it from the lead RC. Relevent information will also be posted on this forum.

Let's keep this honorable with love and respect.

Jim (SC) and I thank each and every one of you that are "standing by" and all those coming on line.

It is a sad day here as we acknowledge the loss of another Minnesotan. A true American Hero who gave his life for the cause of the very freedoms so many take for granted daily. We owe this Marine and his family a debt of gratitude we can only just begin to repay.

Now that we have a confirmed home state mission, let's show everyone how we honor our American Heroes here in Minnesota. Let's send Lance Cpl. Robert G. Posivio III off with the massive show of love, support, and thanks he and his family so richly deserve! It will be both an honor and a solemn duty to proudly display our nations colors to pay our respects to our fellow Minnesotan.
