Our sincere condolences to the family and friends of Capt. Jesse Melton III. May God help you though this difficult time and sorrow. Know your loved one was and is a Hero to us all. Our thoughts and prayers are with you always. He will never be forgotten.

My deepest, heartfelt condolences to the Family and Friends of this Fallen Hero. We thank you for your sacrifice, we are a grateful nation. May your pain be tempered in the knowledge that Jesse is a True American Hero and he will Never be Forgotten.

Capt Melton, III, you are so truly appreciated. You stand a hero now at heaven's gates, along with all our fallen warriors who have gone before you. Rest easy now, Jesse, and know that you will be remembered here, always.

Thank you for your service and sacrifice in defending and protecting our freedoms. As a nation we mourn your loss, and we will remember you always as a true American hero. To the family, I offer my prayers and support. I understand a little of what you are going through-my son, a Marine LCpl, was killed in Iraq. I pray wonderful memories of your dear warrior help eventually to ease the pain you endure today. Your hero will never be forgotten-he leaves a legacy of honor and courage that few will ever achieve. To the familly of Capt Melton. I am MSgt John Santivasci USAF Retired, and my brother is Master Gunnery Sergeant. Michael Santivasci USMC. My brother was assigned with Capt Melton in Okinawa, and was with him in Afganistan as his Top Sergeant, and he is still there. He has asked that I represent him at the services, which I will. Our entire family wishes you the best and you have our heartfelt love during this time. My brother tells me he has the utmost respect for Capt. Melton and that it was his honor to serve under him. He will miss him dearly.

Mrs. Chance and Family. Last night I had the honor of speaking with the Marines that were assigned with Capt Melton. Each and everyone of them wants you to know that you and your family are in there prayers. That Capt. Melton was a highly respected and beloved leader and someone they miss greatly. That they held a memorial service for him and that another is scheduled on Sept 24th in Okinawa. Thier hearts were touched by your son and brother. He will forever be in there hearts. God Bless you and yours.

It was an honor today to ride for Capt. Melton.  The more you hear of this young Officer and Gentleman, the more impressed you have to be.  His dedication, honor and integrity are an example I will hold up for my own children.

Thank you to the family for allowing us to show our respect today.  Our condolences again for the loss of such an outstanding young man.  We mourn with you.

Capt. Melton, I wish I could have met you sir.  The impact you had on others lives and the storied way you became a US Marine Officer are absolutely awesome.  

Stand down Sir.  Rest in Peace.  We have the watch.

I want to thank the family for inviting us to be a part of the services for Capt. Jesse Melton. It was truly an honor!

I also want to thank all who participated in this mission. Throughout the evening on Tuesday, we had 19 PGR members stand a flag-line for the visitation. For the funeral service today, we had 15 stand a flag-line at the church. Then, 12 bikes were part of the escort to Arlington where we were met by an additional 6 bikes. 19 showed their respect at Jesse's final resting place.

During these last two days, I heard quite a few testimonials about what a great guy Jesse was. The outpouring of love and respect for him was quite apparent. He was truly an American Hero, and will not be forgotten! My heart and prayers go out to Jesse's family and friends at this very difficult time.
