The wake for PVT Winston will be held on Friday, Sept. 12th, 2008:
Ronald L Jones Funeral Chapel
2155 East Fair Avenue
Saint Louis, Missouri
 
We will stand a flag line in honor of PVT Winston at the funeral chapel beginning at 4:30pm and will leave promptly at 6:00pm.
 
Services for PVT Winston will be Saturday, Sept. 13th, 2008:
New Northside Church
8645 Goodfellow
Saint Louis, Missouri
 
Services are at 11:00 a.m.
 
Staging for Saturday, Sept. 13th services will be at the New North Side Family Life Center, 5939 Goodfellow Ave., St. Louis, MO at 9:00am.

Interment will follow services at Jefferson Barracks.

PVT Winston will be arriving at Lambert Internation Airport tomorrow, Wednesday, Sept. 10th.
 
We will be staging at Air Cargo at 7:15am on Wednesday, Sept. 10th.  A small group will leave Air Cargo at 7:30 to meet and escort the family to the airport so please be prompt.  The remainder of the riders at Air Cargo will go KSU at 8:00am to join the escort as it arrives at the airport.
 
Staging for services will be posted tomorrow afternoon.

The family of  SPC Vincent Winston has asked the Patriot Guard Riders to participate in the final services for their loved one.  SPC Winston was killed in action in Afghanistan and services will be in St. Louis.  At this time the arrangements are pending and will be updated as available.

DoD Identifies Army Casualty
The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Enduring Freedom. 
 
               Pvt. Vincent C. Winston Jr., 22, of St. Louis, Mo., died Sept. 4 in Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when his vehicle encountered an improvised explosive device. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 2nd Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, Fort Hood, Texas.
