Our most sincere condolences to the family and friends at this time of loss and sorrow.

The sorrow of the faithful is not that of permanent loss,
but the tender sense of sadness that comes in saying good-bye for now to someone we love.
May today's sorrow give way to the peace and comfort of God's love.

that you will not wipe away.

I send my heartfelt condolences to the family of Sgt Kenneth W. Mayne. Please know your loved one is a hero in the hearts of true patriots all across America. Many of our citizens will never know the sacrifices made by those who defend our freedoms, or the sacrifices made by their families and loved ones…as a veteran, I know. Jesus said, “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends”. Though I did not know Kenneth personally, his sacrifice and service to the United States of America makes him my “friend”. God be with you.

For security reasons, we will post final itineraries only after the family has made them public. I would expect this to occur on Thursday. For now, know that services are currently planned for this weekend and I would ask everyone to attend if able.
The initial portion of this mission will be to meet SSGT Mayne with his family at the airport and escort them to the funeral home. Timing on his arrival is still pending, but could occur at any time, day or night, in the next few days. If you wish to participate in this portion of the mission and did not receive the statewide email sent last night, please contact me by email at once. On behalf of the family and the PGR in Colorado. Thank you for your support of this American hero.
