Will need to stage at Benton, KY Wal-Mart at 12:45 this Sunday Sept. 7th and pull out at 1:15.
The Benton Wal-Mart is at exit 43 on the Purchase Parkway and can be seen from the exit, it's on the east side of the Purchase Parkway.
I will be on a blue green Honda Gold Wing and have some other Gold Wings with me.
If anyone will need to eat there is a Wendy's in the same parking lot if they want to arrive early to eat.
It will take 10-15 min. to get to the Church where everything is going on.
I can lead and will have some of my Chapter members running middle and tailgunner as we all have CB's to keep everyone together and safe.
Please put out that we will need flags, thanks.
We are about 30 miles from the TN border.

On a Sunday morning on July 1, 1945 a B 29 Superfortress on a cross country training flight crashed in Mashall Co. during a Thunder storm at night killing all but one.
The Marshall Co. Fiscal Court purchased a monument honoring the crew which will be unvieled near the crash site at Soldier Creek Church.
The one survivor walked up to a house during the night asking for help and the family took him to the Mayfield Hosptial for treatment.
Relatives of several crew members are expected to attend.
This happened about six weeks before the end of the war.

Gods Blessing to the Heroes for whom this Monument is Dedicated and their families.

Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you: 1. Jesus Christ. 2. The American G.I. One died for your soul, the other for your Freedom.

A beautiful monument and dedication ceremony for these heroes.

This mission holds a special place in my heart because my own cousin died in a stateside training accident in 1971.

Thank you Dan for leading the mission and the invitation to meet up in Mayfield.
