On August 14, 2008 Gulfport, MS Motorcycle Officer Lt. Rob Curry was involved in a crash on US 49 in Gulfport, and was killed in the line of duty.

The Patriot Guard has been requested to attend. This is the information we have at this time. We will have more on staging times and locations posted soon. Please stand by to honor this police officer.

 

Visitation: Sunday August 17, 2008 5 P.M. to 7 P.M.

Monday August 18, 2008 10 A.M.

For Sunday’s visitation we will need to be at Riemann’s on Three Rivers & Dedeaux Rd at 4:15 pm

Be prepared for HEAVY traffic in and out of the area *

Early Monday morning there is going to be a motorcycle procession through Gulfport with Lt Currys personal bike on a trailer. The procession will leave Riemann (Three Rivers & Dedeaux) approx 8:30 am and travel through Gulfport, stopping at a few stations and then to St.James on Cowan rd.

We will ride with the procession from Riemanns to the Church. Plans include making a stop at the Police station on 34th ave. We will have to stage in the church parking lot on the NW corner of Three Rivers & Dedeaux. Staging time will be posted but estimated to be 7:30 am.
