We have been invited to attend the Welcome Home Celebration for SSG "TJ" Ahl by his Blue Star Mom, Jean. SSG Ahl is returning from his THIRD Combat Tour in Iraq. Jean is Vice President of the Blue Star Mothers, and is thrilled to have her son home, and to have us there as well.

Jean has requested that we provide a Flag Line and a short escort into Jay's Bar in Little River, SC.

This is right on the NC (no) border, so if you can, please come on down into SC and welcome this young Warrior home from Combat, and buy him a beer-or two.

SSG Ahl,
Thank you for all you have done to carry the Mantle of Freedom throughout the world, and all of the sacrifices you have made for our Country. Thank you for all of the training, the sleepless nights, the heat, the cold, the MRE's, the bugs, the sun, and all of the other crap you had to endure during your three tours of Combat. I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Jean,
Thank you for raising such a fine young man, such a Patriot, who volunteered to serve our Country in a very tough time. I know that you are so very proud, and so very happy that TJ is home. I could hear the happiness in your voice!

Thanks for inviting us to share in this wonderful event-we're looking forward to meeting you all.

Yours in Service,

"MISSION FIRST!"

WELCOME HOME, SSG AHL!!! Thank you for serving our country. Your efforts are appreciated, and you deserve all the honor and respect that we can possibly show you! I live up in the "other" Carolina, but too far from the coastal side to make it on the 19th. I regret that, but know that I would give you a great big ole welcome-home hug if I could! Your mama has the right idea - we just want to celebrate when our guys and gals come home!
