Beautiful ceremony today!
Great turnout from PGR, many Veteran groups and from community.
Very humbling when the family came and shook the hands of all of the PGR in flag line.
The Town Supv shook hands with most of us as well.

A local Vet was interviewed on local TV and said he never could have imagined such a large turnout!

It was my honor to stand for Robert Hewett today.
I hope he was looking down and was able to to see everyone and feel the support and respect.
I only wish he could have seen that in life.

Mission complete.

Many thanks to the 20+ PGR men and women from CT, NY, and NJ who helped provide an extremely dignified and emotional farewell to Robert Hewett. It was an honor to be asked to stand for him and provide such testament to his contribution to us all. I hope his family and friends can take solace in knowing that so many understand and appreciate how meaningful his life was to us all.

Semper Fi Robert Hewett. Rest in peace.
