My deepest sympathy to the family of SPC William L. McMillan.  I appreciate all of his contributions to our country and may there be a special place for him in heaven.  All gave some and some gave all.  He gave his 'all' so young. I will never forget.

Our sincere condolences to the family and friends of Spc. William L. McMillian III,Thanks for being one of our greatest heroes. God Bless. And God Bless, The fellow soldiers that stands for us everyday.Thank you for your dedicated service and sacrifice to defend this great nation of ours.

We salute you , My Friend

Final Inspection

The soldier stood and faced God,
Which must always come to pass.
He hoped his shoes were shining.
Just as brightly as his brass.
"Step forward now,soldier.
How shall I deal with you?
Have you always turned the other cheek?
To My Church have you been true?"
The soldier squared his shoulders and said,
"No, Lord, I guess I ain't.
Because those of us who carry guns,
Can't always be a saint.
I've had to work most Sundays,
And at times my talk was tough.
And sometimes I've been violent,
Because the world is awfully rough.
But, I never took a penny,
That wasn't mine to keep....
Though I worked a lot of overtime.
When the bills just got too steep.
And I never passed a cry for help,
Though at times I shook with fear.
And sometimes, God, forgive me,
I've wept unmanly tears.
I know I don't deserve a place,
Among the people here.
They never wanted me around,
Except to calm their fears.
If you've a place for me here, Lord.
It needn't be so grand.
I never expected or had too much,
But if you don’t, I’ll understand.
There was a silence all around the throne,
Where the saints had often trod.
As the soldier waited quietly,
For the judgment of his God.
"Step forward now,soldier
you’ve borne your burdens well.
Walk peacefully on Heaven’s streets;
you’ve done your time in Hell."

Another hero tragically taken from us; God Bless you Sir! You are and forever will be a hero. Like too many warriors, you paid the full price to keep us free. We owe you a debt that we are very much aware we can never repay in full. Know this though; we will never forget your sacrifice to us. Your mission is complete; well done. My family and I wish to express our heartfelt condolences to the family of SPC McMillan. We know this is a very difficult time for you; we can only hope these few words will help in some way to ease your sorrow. Standing by in Louisville to honor this hero!

I am Bill's wife, Elizabeth. I would first like to thank you all for your kind words, thought and prayers.  Bill was an amazing soldier, brother, son, friend and husband.  I can not express, or find the words to tell you all the wonderful things about my husband.  The world now seems to have a large hole in it now that he is gone.  We will be honored to have you all at our side, supporting our family, and protecting us from those people who would try to interfere with our hero's homecoming.  Thank you again.

SPC William McMillan, Thank you for your service. Rest easy soldier.

To the McMillan Family please accept my condolonces. I find it impossible to find any words that could help comfort you during this time. So instead I will honor William the only way I know how and that is to never forget him or the sacrifice he made so that I could live free.

To William's Wife, Brother, Family, and Friends,
I usually do not post condolences as many others are far more eloquent than myself. But, today I read the posts you made to the PGR and felt compelled to respond - Thank You. I'm sure this is one of the difficult times of your lives, and I really do wish I could lessen your burden. Please take comfort as William must be at the side of God now - Safe, Protected, and Basking in His warmth. You will see him again and it will be wonderful.

If I can help in any way, just say the word,
