The family of Stanley Pollard  a Veteran of six years service with the U.S. Air Force, has requested the presence of the Patriot Guard at his memorial service Saturday, July 5. Stan was taken suddenly July 1 in a car accident. Following his military service he was an air traffic controller at Detroit Metro Airport, retiring in March after 25 years. He is survived by his wife, Susan; children, Shane Pollard, Maria (Trenton) Duckworth and Emily Day; his mother Doris and four grandchildren.
 
Location: Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison, MI. 48423. Approximately 1/2 mile West of M-15, South side.
 
Staging: 11:30
 
Briefing: 11:45
 
Flag Line: 12:00
 
There will be no escort, a Flag Line only for before and following the service.
 
Please show your support for this short notice mission on this holiday weekend if at all possible.

Mission accomplished! Thank you so much to all my brothers and sisters that were able to attend this mission for Stan Pollard. I counted 19 bikes and there were a number of bikes riding double, An outstanding turn out on short notice in the middle of a holiday weekend. Susan (Stan's wife) and many family members told me how very much our attendance was appreciated. You folks are the absolute best! God bless.
