Damn, words are lost but feelings are found. Not much I can say about Tom that hasnt been said already. although late, I would like to offer my condolences to all his family and friends. To Tom, I'm so so sorry I was on the road and was unable to HONOR YOU the way I rightfully should have. I will always cheerish the memories of riding together to and from missions and standing the flag lines. You truely were and always will be a man of great character and a brother forever. Ride Free Tom, cya on the other side.

Damn.  It has taken me several days to be able to post, here.  I am SO saddened by Tom's death.  I don't think I've stopped crying since Fredly told me about this.  I apologize to the PGR and Tom's family for not knowing in time to attend.  I was on the road, which, I suppose, is fitting, considering the way Tom rode--all out, all over, and all the way!

I remember riding home from a Mission in Clearwater, when Tom was "assigned' to ride with me because things tended to fall off my at-the-time bike and my PGR friends worried about my safety.  Fredly told Tom, "She can keep up," and, apparently, Tom had heard Old-Cop talk about my penchant for ignoring posted traffic devises.  Off we went, with Tom and his big blue 'Wing in the lead.
All was well until we hit I-4.
Tom rode like Tom rode, believing "the girl' would be right behind.  Well, let me tell you . . . that ol' KZ1000P could NOT keep up, by any stretch of the imagination!  Due to the tire(s) being out of true, that dang bike was all over the rode, jumping and bobbing, and scaring the you-know-what out of me!  I tried flashing my lights, waving my arms, cursing, praying, and, even, honking my horn.  (I'm not sure why.)  Yes, I even cried (because that'w what I do).  As valiantly as I was trying to keep- catch up, I just couldn't.  Finally, I backed off.  Tom noticed and cut back the turbo, allowing me to  pull off.  I told him I could NOT keep up, and would he either just let me ride my own ride or slow the HE** down.  Graciously, as that's how he did things, he agreed, apologizing profusely, and explained who had said what.
After I finished cussin' both Fredly and Old-Cop, all was well.  At I-95 I went south and Tom continued on home.  This is, believe it or not, a fond memory!  LOL

I also remember putting out an SOS for help with a function I was running, in May 2007.  It had nothing to do with PGR or veterans.  Tom, among others, readily agreed to help.  He brought his camera and got some great shots of the event.

Tom, you are already missed and will remain one of my Heart Friends, forever.  Save me a seat at the Meetin', please.
To the family: We do not forget~
