It is with a heavy heart that we extend our heartfelt condolances to the family of Tom. He sacrificed much of his time and made a great effort to comfort those who needed it most even if they were complete strangers.
May the good lord bring solace and comfort to all who feel the loss of someone who went that extra mile.
Kool
Can you feel the wind in Heaven Can you hear us call your name Can you feel our broken hearts This world wont ever be the same
Can you hear the sound of Thunder When we gather in our group Can you hear the sound of silence When we look where you once stood.
Can you feel the wind in Heaven
Can you hear the ladies cry Can you see the tears that fall When we have to say goodbye
Can you hear the bugle cry Leather clad with watery eyes Can you see the pain we bear
And know we’d rather have you here
I hope there is a Biker Heaven Where we will meet again someday I hope to feel the wind in Heaven And shake your hand again that day

This is one of the hardest posts I have ever made. I just do not have the words...
Suzie, I send my deepest sympathy to you and your family. I pray that God will walk you through this dark valley and give you strength and comfort. Tom was a rare person, one of those that you liked instantly when you met him. You, the family, and the PGR have lost a fine man.
I think back to all of the times we rode together on missons, broke bread together, and stood flag lines together. I will miss his friendship, his caring, his concern and his infectious grin. I thank him for his service to our nation in an unpopular war. I thank him for honoring our heroes and their families. I thank him for his friendship and his friendship to Carl.
Tom, you are truly one of the good guys and will be sorely missed. Rest in peace. |

I too have tried to start this post a number of times but words escape me. Tom and I worked and rode several missions together. I wonderful man and a true patriot at heart. It saddens me to the core to hear of his passing. I hope that I will be available for this mission. It has been a long while since my last mission and I would very much like to be there to stand again with Tom, his family and friends and the PGR of FL family.
Rest easy Sailor. Mission complete, job well done! |

Sadness does not come close to expressing my feelings today. The loss of any patriot is difficult to bare, but when the patriot is known and loved by those around him it becomes even more so. Our prayers go out to Tom's family, as well as to all his PGR brother and sisters. We have lost one of, if not the best man we have ever known within our ranks.
Tom, you served the nation with pride and dignity in the Navy. You served again with the same pride and dignity as a leader in the PGR. You may stand down now my brother, your mission is complete. God has guided you into safe harbor one last time. Rest in peace knowing we have the con, and will carry out the mission in a manner that will make you proud. God's speed my brother, God's Speed.

We've heard a few folks say that they remember Tom's name but can't put a face to the name. Others have been robbed of the opportunity to meet him. Tom very rarely missed a mission until his wife had some serious medical issues. He had to step back to take care of the home front. I hear that he was just about ready to start standing the flag line again. Anyhow, trust me when I tell you his keen eye will be watching from above.
Anyhow, here are a few shots of Tom "flaman2u" Rowell. Thanks Bobbie for digging these up...
