Alan is a retired Marine Captain, having served in Vietnam and Desert Storm. A little over a year and a half ago he was diagnosed with lung cancer and lost his final battle on June 10th 2008. He was proud to be a Marine and serve his country. After 9/11 he tried to re-enlist but was told they would call if they needed him.  He believed in this country and that it was his duty to protect her from all enemies.
His Memorial service and Military Honors will be Friday June 27th at Eternal Hills Cemetery 1999 El Camino Real Oceanside, CA.

Time Table:

        Oceanside CA.

1230 Flag line

Patrick will R/C

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. If this will be your first mission, dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage.

Our sincere condolences to the family and friends of Capt (ret) Alan Lovelett, USMC Veteran. May God help you though this difficult time and sorrow. He is one of America's Heroes that will never be forgotten.

Rest Safely and Securely in God's Loving Arms, Alan.

Going home, going home,
I'm just going home.
Quiet-like, slip away-
I'll be going home.
It's not far, just close by;
Jesus is the Door;
Work all done, laid aside,
Fear and grief no more.
Friends are there, waiting now.
He is waiting, too.
See His smile! See His hand!
He will lead me through.

Morning Star lights the way;
Restless dream all done;
Shadows gone, break of day,
Life has just begun.
Every tear wiped away,
Pain and sickness gone;
Wide awake there with Him!
Peace goes on and on!
Going home, going home,
I'll be going home.
See the Light! See the Sun!
I'm just going home.
