                                      PFC Derek Martin PANG
                                               LEBANON PA

 Pfc Martin was attending his monthly drill with PANG Company D 228 BSB in Pine Grove PA this past weekend when he was tragically killed in a traffic accident. As a reservist, he chose to serve his country, knowing full well he could be activated and called to full service at any time. He was willing to make the sacrifice of commuting from Tennessee, where he was living with grandparents, to PA to fulfill his obligations and duty once a month.

 Derek Martin showed his willingness to stand for his country and now it is our turn to stand for him. His unit has requested PGR to attend his services, and we are waiting for confirmation from the family at this time.

Our sincere condolences to the family and friends of PFC Derek Martin. May God help you though this difficult time and sorrow. Know your son was and is a Hero to us all. Our thoughts and prayers are with you always. He will never be forgotten.

Rest Safely and Securely in God's Loving Arms, Derek.

Going home, going home,
I'm just going home.
Quiet-like, slip away-
I'll be going home.
It's not far, just close by;
Jesus is the Door;
Work all done, laid aside,
Fear and grief no more.
Friends are there, waiting now.
He is waiting, too.
See His smile! See His hand!
He will lead me through.

Morning Star lights the way;
Restless dream all done;
Shadows gone, break of day,
Life has just begun.
Every tear wiped away,
Pain and sickness gone;
Wide awake there with Him!
Peace goes on and on!
Going home, going home,
I'll be going home.
See the Light! See the Sun!
I'm just going home.
