Staging: Starbucks at 13518 Baseline Ave, Fontana, CA
Time: 0800 hours (8:00am).
Ride Meeting: 0815 hours (8:15am).
KSU: 0830 hours (8:30am).

Marker Point planned times as follows:

Marker "A" 13518 Baseline Ave, Fontana, CA: KSU 0830 hours (8:30am) Sharp!
Marker "B" 491 Armory Rd, Barstow, CA -- Valero Gas Station. KSU: 0945 (9:45am)
Marker "C" 25635 Crucero Rd, Amboy, CA, this is the Ludlow exit off the I-40 in "Amboy".
There is a Chevron gas station on the south side of the highway. KSU: 1045 (10:45am)

Marker "D" AZ and CA Riders This is the joint Staging Area!
This is the wide spot in th road, located at the corner of OLD Amboy Rd and National Trails Hwy (Old route 66) See route map!

Marker "E" 57266 29 Palms Hwy, Yucca Valley, CA -- Gas Station and quick rest stop. KSU: 1400 (2pm)
Marker "F"
6261 W 5th St, Banning, CA -- The Farm House. Dinner Brake! Approximant arrival time: 1430 (2:30pm) KSU 1700 (5pm)
Marker "G" 3502 Adams St, Riverside ca. -- Final Drop off of Family ETA: 1745 (5:45pm)

Please feel free to meet up or break off at any point during the ride.

Note to all riders: This is an extremely hot and desolate ride forecast shows 105 to 110 degrees in some parts. Make certain you prepare accordingly. Lots of hydration and methods to stay cool is extremely recommended. All fuel stops are less than 100 miles, however, make certain you show up at Starbucks fully topped off and ready to roll! There is a gas station directly across the street from Starbucks it is highly recommended that all riders use it! Anyone that cannot make the 100 miles on a single tank may not be able to make this mission fully. To determine if you can, please review route map above for details!

PHASE 2 -- July 4th Mission

To the family of Corpsman Burnett;
There are no words to express our sorrow for you at this terrible loss. Know there are many of us out here including my family who lift you up in prayer and would like to extend our deepest appreciation to your amazing son who took the call not many do and who represnts the best of this new generation of young men and women. Thank you Corpsman, you will not be forgotten.

We will be there Mayor, and we are bringing company! There is no more fitting a way to spend this sacred holiday.

Good luck @ Lakewood. Its LakeVIEW offramp, first off from junction of 55 North&91 East.

I am going directly to RNC.

Just got back from phase 1 (7/3) very emotional, will let John or Nettie say more. I do want to thank the Riverside Co Sheriff for their support.

Also it sounds like phase 2 (7/4) is must do mission.

CA PHASE 1 POST MISSION BRIEF

Seven Bikes and One Pickup which was pulling a trailer for support, pulled out of Starbucks in Fontana on schedule. Once we crested the hill into Victorville we picked up to additional PGR members on Bikes who joined us on the fly at Main St.
We then stopped in Barstow for fuel and gained an additional cage!

In the meantime rolling from the south side we had three motorcycles and Bridget making their dash to Amboy via 29 Palms. During their gas stop in 29 Palms they heard the Radio Station announce that we would be coming through at 12:30pm.

And most important at the same time from the East, AZ RC Mike and the family were making their way from Bullhead, AZ towards Amboy.

At 1115 almost on cue the three groups swooped into the little town of Amboy increasing the population there by at least three fold all at once! In spite of the 110 Degree's of heat the group was whole!

Now we had 14 Bikes, and 5 cages and, including the family about 25 people! We had a quick “mid mission” ride meeting and then we headed south to 29 Palms.

Just outside 29 Palms we were met by Troopers who escorted us through 29 Palms with flashing lights and stopping traffic. Citizens came out of offices, out of homes, out every nook and cranny and they lined the streets! All of city hall came out! Every single one of them waved flags, saluted or placed their hands over their hearts and then… then as we passed the Amboy Rd/Adobe Rd Intersection we found lined on both sides of the street, 30 fully Uniformed Marines and Sailors to present arms and respects as we went by! It was 110 Degrees no shade and these boys... MEN... stood proud and saluting! Fantastic! That is the point I think we all became emotional! Talking to the family at the next stop they really expressed their appreciation of the display of respect 29 Palms military and their citizens displayed!

We then proceeded under Highway Patrol Escort through Yucca Valley and on down the hill. They saluted and left us at Morongo Valley.

Our final stop was at The Farm House in Beaumont for dinner. The Blue Star and Gold Star Mom's met up with us there and presented the family with Gold Stars Flowers and words of encouragement. Very inspirational and a much needed rest for all of us!

We then left there and took the family to Riverside and bid them good night.

Thank you everyone for making this mission a success by supporting this American Hero and his family.

Tomorrow we help the family lay HM Dustin Burnett to rest.

Thank you for the mission you gave to your life in protecting our freedoms, and striving to give others, theirs. The lives of you and the men and women who have gone before you are raised high, and not given in vain. CA PHASE 2 POST MISSION BRIEF

105 Bikes and five Cages staged this morning behind the Shell Station on Adams. At 9am sharp we rolled to the Home were Dustin Burnett and his family waited. We met up with AZ RC Mike, and two additional riders that had come all the way from Arizona for this mission, along with friends of the family on Bikes. We organized thr groups and started the precession through the back streets of Riverside.

We had reliable intel that we had "protesters" at RNC, due to Gunny scouting out and finding them. To shield the family, we started up the escort with the family and then, Martin Borg RC'ed a special team of PGR members who peeled away from the back of the escort. They then took a quicker route straight to RNC. The purpose was to provide a shield. However, we are not sure if it is because Gunny is so ornery or that the small contingent he had with him was just overwhelming, but by the time Borg's team arrived the "protesters" had enough and had scrammed!

The family and escort arrived through the Front Gate of RNC unimpeded and uninterrupted and we proceeded directly to committal area G.

Borg’s group followed us in and the PGR quickly formed a flag line.

Thank you Primo for stepping up and taking charge of the Road Guards, Road Guards you did a stellar job! Gunny and I... (hey Gunny that "&I" thing even works here!) Anyway, Gunny and... I would like to say thanks to everyone for coming out and showing such honor and respect to this fallen hero and his family! As usual, all of you are an incredible group of people!
