My most heartfelt condolences go out to family and friends of Scott Kalitta.

Drag Racinig is a vocation that many of us have enjoyed through the years. Drivers and teams have come and gone through the years however the heart that beats within caring individuals like those of the Kalitta family will never fade our memory.

I have been a drag racing fan for many more years than I have been a PGR member. I watched Connie "the Bounty Hunter" many times at Great Lakes Dragway in Union Grove Wisconsin. The Kalitta family has meant so much for the sport of drag racing but they have meant even more for our troops that they return to their grieving families. I pray that the Kalitta family will be shown the same respect, honor and dignity that they have shown our returning heroes because they deserve it. Thank you Kalitta Air for all you do for our servicemen and women. Godspeed Scott, this fan will not forget you.

Respectfully,

Scott has launched his "hole shot" into the next life... far too early, as far as we are all concerned, but he truly lived a wonderful life.

Race In Peace, Brother.

May the Kalitta family find comfort in the fact Scott was doing what he loved. He won that last race and was properly honored by his crew and the racing world when his next heat would have been run. A grand show of respect.

And a grand show of respect was also shown by the Army racing team in dedicating their win and trophy to Scott and his family.

Scott - may you forever pull the holeshot and run the track straight and narrow.

Respectfully,

I have been very blessed to know the Kalitta family. May God be with them thur this time. And also with the whole racing world.
Thanks to Connie for stepping up and providing the air craft that brings or Hero's home.
Just a quick stroy Scott and Ace were chatting and something came up and Scott looked at Ace and said " I can remember when you and DAD would get into a fight and destory the house wend you would come to visit.
It does not sound that funny now but at the time I about laugh my butt off.
Rest in Peace Scott.
