We have the honor of welcoming Spc-4 Nicholas A. Zamniak of the 35th Engineers Medical Corp. home from the sandbox.
Location:
The American Legion Post 118 Irwin–Easley 112 Hwy. W. Cassville, MO 65625
Post 118 has donated use of the Memorial Park and Pavilion on the North side of the post.
Date:
Sunday June 29th, 2008 at 1300 hrs. (1:00 PM.) Please arrive by 1230 hrs.
Folks this is going to be a different kind of a welcome home. According to Mrs. Zamniak, one of Nicholas's favorite things is a cookout. So we are going to give him a welcome home cookout. I will be smoking two briskets and a turkey. I am asking everyone to bring a covered dish and drinks. There are plenty of picnic tables but if you would like, bring a more comfortable chair. This is a well shaded area and this promises to be a very pleasant afternoon. There is also a play area for the children (young and old) and restroom facilities.
When Spc-4 Zamniak and his family arrive, we will man a flag line from the gate to the pavilion to tell this young man thank you.
Any questions please contact:

Folks I need a head count to make sure I have enough meat
cooked. I have already added hamburgers and hotdogs to the menu. It's supposed
to be beautiful weather folks. Hope to have a good turnout! See you at noon.
Please let me know if you are attending!
