Confirmed Mission

Larry "Moss" Dahn

Tomah, WI June 21, 2008

 

“Moss” was a Korea and Vietnam Army veteran and his sense of duty has extended to his niece who is a MN PGR member and Soldier’s Angel. 

 

Visitation will be from 11-1 on Saturday the 21st of June.

Funeral will be at 1.

 

Place:  Torkelson Funeral Home

  2224 S. Superior Ave

  Tomah, WI. 54660

 

 Parking:  ample hard-surface parking available


 Directions:
Approximately half-way between Hwy #16 and I-90 on Hwy #131.  Hwy #131 is also the main street (Superior Avenue) through Tomah.  The Funeral Home website has convenient link to Mapquest:  http://www.torkelsonfuneralhomes.com/tomah.htm


Staging:               10:00 am

Mission briefing  10:15 am

Flag line              10:30 am

 

Mission:
Mission consists of a flag line at the funeral home during visitation and at the end of the service. 

 

There is no burial.

We arrived at the funeral home and set up flags around the parking lot. After the breifing we stood flag line until the service started then we stood down until The American legion took their place and we formed a flag line behind them as requested. There were about 10 or 11 different clubs that he knew at the service then there was an escort to Ontario to where he had lived. We were well received and were thanked for what we do.
