Sincere condolances and deepest sympathy to the family and friends of Major Stallings. Sir, you have done yourself, your family, and the citizens of the USA proud. May you now stand down and let others stand your post. To the family and friends, may God support you during your time of grief, and continue to be at your side.

God Bless Harvey Lee Stallings, family and friends. My sincere and heartfelt condolences to the family and friends. Thank you for your service and sacrifice great warrior. Final Inspection
The soldier stood and faced God,
Which must always come to pass.
He hoped his shoes were shining.
Just as brightly as his brass.
"Step forward now,soldier.
How shall I deal with you?
Have you always turned the other cheek?
To My Church have you been true?"
The soldier squared his shoulders and said,
"No, Lord, I guess I ain't.
Because those of us who carry guns,
Can't always be a saint.
I've had to work most Sundays,
And at times my talk was tough.
And sometimes I've been violent,
Because the world is awfully rough.
But, I never took a penny,
That wasn't mine to keep....

Mjr Stallings, along with his family, were lifelong Harley riders. His daughter graciously shared some stories and photos of their family rides and her fathers off road racing exploits. His ride of choice was a springer softail on all of the family pictures. The PGR who gathered to honor him included a member on a springer. Mjr Stallings got his last ride on a springer when his cremains were carried to the cemetery on the back seat of a PGR members Harley. 4 of his 6 surviving family members also rode on various PGR members bikes to accompany their father. As his daughter Juanita said " This is just what he would have wanted".
Rest in Peace Major. Your duty is done. |
