This event is to honor Minnesota Veterans and is a huge fund raiser for the Minnesota Assistance Council for Veterans.  Please check out the various flyers and brochure links at the MAC-V web site (http://www.mac-v.org/) for a description of the events that will be taking place Thursday through Sunday.

June 18th:
The MN Patriot Guard along with HOG Chapters and Legion Riders have been invited to participate in the opening ceremonies by lining the entry way at Canterbury Downs for the arrival and final escort of the American Veterans Traveling Tribute (AVTT) June 18.  The MN PG will stage at the Shakpoee Ballroom parking lot (SW corner of 4th Ave and Shenandoah Rd.).  Tim Leonhardt will be the Ride Captain at Canterbury.  All are invited to attend these opening ceremonies and join in the fun, food and entertainment, however, involvement is only to provide a motorcycle escort.  This will be a very short ride at low speeds so it is VERY appropriate that we fly 3x5 American Flags for this escort.  There will not be a flag line.

Schedule:  (This is an updated staging location)
Stage at the Shakopee Ballroom (SW corner 4th Ave. and Shenandoah) parking lot:  4:30 pm
Briefing: 5:00 pm
AVTT and a small escort will arrive between 5:15 and 5:25
Final Escort (all bikes) 5:27
Open ceremonies with welcome by General Shellito 5:30 ALL ARE INVITED

Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you: 1. Jesus Christ. 2. The American G.I. One died for your soul, the other for your Freedom.
