Francis K. Greening - Age 83 - US Army Infantry - WWII Veteran (European Theater) - Visitation 17 JUN 08
The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to attend the Visitation for Francis K. Greening on Tuesday, June 17 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Home in Rochester, MN. At the request of the family, we will be holding a flagline through-out the duration of the visitation.
Obituary:
Mr. Greening was born on July 30, 1924 in Chippewa Falls, WI and he grew up there. He moved to the Rochester area in 1937 and has lived here since. Mr. Greening served in the U.S. Army Infantry in the European Theater for four years and when discharged, returned to the Rochester area. He was a long time member of the Rochester V.F.W. Post. On June 30, 1947 he married Marie H. Hanson at St. John's Catholic Church in Rochester and she does survive. Mr. Greening owned & operated the Greening Welding Shop for over 40 years and was the oldest hitch installer in the Rochester area. He also worked for the City Park Department as a mechanic & welder for many years. Phil enjoyed fishing, camping, woodworking & restoring old cars.

8:00 pm - Dismissed
If you can not make it for the entire Visitation, please feel free to join us at any time as this will mean a great deal to this family.
All times are approximate. Please bring a 3'x5' American Flag, ride safely, and bring appropriate gear, food, and drink.There will be no escort for this mission. Weather looks to be a high of 75 degrees and sunny.all day with a light breeze.
