Staging 9:30 AM We will stage in the parking lot on the corner of Union and Pottawatamie (1 block South of M-50). Parking will be across the street, please look for my Blue truck w/PGR flag and park behind it.

When funeral starts at 11am, I will be asking for volunteers to go to Brookside Cemetery to Stand as a backdrop for the 21-gun salute that will be done there. Cemetery is less than 1 mile away, straight drive no turns.

TECUMSEH, Mich. - Kennard L. “Ken” Wise, 81, of Tecumseh passed away unexpectedly at Toledo Hospital June 9, 2008.
He was born Jan. 4, 1927, in Clinton, Mich., to Kennard B. and Rubena (Schumacher) Wise. He was a graduate of Tecumseh High School, class of 1944, and joined the Army Air Corps. Kennard married Claire Harwood of Onsted on Oct. 22, 1945. Just 60 hours later he left for a 13-month tour of duty in the Philippine Islands. He was a loyal member of American Legion Post 34, VFW Post 4187 and F. and A.M. Lodge of Tecumseh.
Visitation is Thursday, June 12, 2008, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Tecumseh Chapel of Handler Funeral Homes. Funeral service is Friday, June 13, 2008, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Interim Pastor Dennis Ladd of the Brooklyn Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Tecumseh, will full Military Honors under the auspices of the Tecumseh American Legion Post #34 and the VFW Post #4187. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home on Friday.
