 1SGT JAMES RAYMOND – 13JUNE – WAREHAM, MA

STAGING:  Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home

                      2599 Cranberry Highway

                      Wareham, MA

STAGING TIME:  0700 Friday, June 13th

KSU:  0730

The procession will leave the funeral home and proceed to Camp Edwards where there will a short service at the Coast Guard Chapel.  After the service internment will take place at the Bourne National Cemetery.

The family of First Sergeant James Raymond has requested our presence at his services on Friday, June 13th.   1SGT Raymond served in the 82nd Airborne from 1971 to 1976 and joined the Massachusetts National Guard upon active duty discharge; he was deployed to Kuwait in 2005.

First Sergeant Raymond died in a motorcycle accident on Otis on Sunday, June 8th.

SERVICES:  Friday, June 13th, Wareham, MA

Details for staging and timing will be posted once finalized.

Another great Warrior fallen. Jim was a friend of mine. Went to my first leadership school with him back in 1987 (I think). Good Soldier, good man. My heartfelt condolences go out to his wife and family. Thank you mighty Warrior friend for all that you have done to make all of our lives better. Ride above in safety my brother. I'm sorry you are gone.

Riding in memory of my friend MSG John T. Stone. Killed in Afghanistan on 28 March 2006 during his 3rd tour in AFG.
