We will meet in the morning at the Valero Station on Hwy 181 in Taft at 8am.  We will go to the funeral home around 0830 to stand a flag line as they place Cpl. Rodriguez in the funeral coach.

Some will go ahead to the church to stand a flag line as he arrives at the church. The service is scheduled to start at
10am. There will be an escort from the funeral home to the church and to the cemetery. 

I spoke with the family this afternoon, this man was a real American Hero, he deserves a true hero’s send off.  It will be warm tomorrow, we will have water and ice available in the support vehicles.

We have lost another Hero from the greatest generation, CPL. Cristoval H. Rodriguez, US Army 1941-46 passed away today.  Of those years he spent in the Army, 4 were spent as a POW.  The family has contacted us and asked Patriot Guard to stand for this Soldier.  The services will be held in Corpus Christi Texas, date and locations are still being worked out.  As soon as information comes available, we will get it posted.
