My most heartfelt prayers and sympathies go out to the family of US Army Sgt First Class Donald R. Hurst, who has made the ULTIMATE SACRAFICE  while fighting to defend our nations freedom in the Global War on Terrorism.

Thank you for your willingness to defend the United States of America and her freedoms and interests. Your untimely death brings much sorrow and sadness to the hearts and lives of your family, friends, military brothers and sisters, each and every member of the Patriot Guard Riders, and all who truly appreciate their freedom. We are proud of your service and dedication in that which you believed in and fought for. Your mission is complete. You are truly an American hero and the world in which we live is a safer place because of your commitment to freedom. We will now proudly stand for you with honor, dignity, and respect. To the Hurst family, thank you for allowing this great man to serve his country and to defend our way of life, you have my prayers and condolences, know that his sacrifice does not go unnoticed. I will be organizing the arrival and planeside honors for SFC Hurst at Signature Flight Support which is located off Loyala Blvd in Kenner, if your coming off I-10 from Baton Rouge you cross the spill way into Kenner and take the first exit onto Loyola then right at the end of the off ramp to the light, go straight through the light to the end of the road, Signature Flight Support will be on the left.  I will be there at 1245, standing by.

Thank you for your service and sacrifice in defending and protecting our freedoms. As a nation we mourn your loss, and we will remember you always as a true American hero. To the family, I offer my prayers and support. I understand a little of what you are going through-my son, a Marine LCpl, was killed in Iraq. I pray wonderful memories of your dear warrior help eventually to ease the pain you endure today. Your hero will never be forgotten-he leaves a legacy of honor and courage that few will ever achieve. I would like to extend my deepest condolences to the family and friends of SFC David R. Hurst in this very sad time in your lives. My prayers are that our GOD may bring peace and comfort to all of you during this tragic time. Please know that not just me , but a country full of people like me owe you a debt that can never be repaid. We know that your loved one is now serving in the Army of our LORD in heaven, and the LORD said if I go to prepare a place for you, I will come again and recieve you unto myself that where I am there you may be also. I thank you for the sacrifice you and your family have endured so our nation can remain the home of the free because of the brave. We are all brothers and sisters in arms and we don't forget one of our own, rest in peace my comrade, your mission is complete and now it's time for you to rest.
