Our sincere condolences to the family and friends of SP4 John Dieter, Viet Nam Veteran. May God help you though this difficult time and sorrow. He is
one of America's Heroes that will never be forgotten.
Rest Safely and Securely in God's Loving Arms, John.
Going home, going home,
I'm just going home.
Quiet-like, slip away-
I'll be going home.
It's not far, just close by;
Jesus is the Door;
Work all done, laid aside,
Fear and grief no more.
Friends are there, waiting now.
He is waiting, too.
See His smile! See His hand!
He will lead me through.
Morning
Star lights the way;
Restless dream all done;
Shadows gone, break of day,
Life has just begun.
Every tear wiped away,
Pain and sickness gone;
Wide awake there with Him!
Peace goes on and on!
Going home, going home,
I'll be going home.
See the Light! See the Sun!
I'm just going home.

| John you have been my friend for many years and i'm proud to call you friend. How strange you were just in the rifle squad for my brothers memorial on Memorial day and now i will be standing to honor you.You do not have to die in battle or even have been a soldier to be a hero . You must be someone who sets the bar at a high level and sets an example for others to followand be someone others look up to and respect. Your dedication to honor our vets is second to none. I'm sure as I stand in honor of you I will shed a tear along with a few smiles remembering the great hero you are. To all your family, friends and loved ones my heart and my prayers go out to you. |
