UPDATE: Rally Point and Times have changed to the following:
Rally point: Old CAT plant Parking Lot, 9083 N. Harrison St, Davenport, IA (by the Davenport Airport).
Rally time: 1515 hrs., PRB 1545 hrs., KSU immediately to head to North Scott High School to establish our flag line.
All other info such as escort will be given at the Briefing. |

The Patriot Guard Riders have been asked to help with these.
COMMUNITY SENDOFF CEREMONIES SCHEDULED FOR IOWA ARMY NATIONAL GUARD UNIT Three community sendoff ceremonies will be held on Thursday, June 5 for a Boone-based Iowa Army National Guard unit mobilized as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom and the global war on terror. Local officials and Iowa National Guard leadership will participate and the public and media are welcome and encouraged to attend the sendoff ceremony.
Soldiers are being mobilized from Company B, 248th Aviation Support Battalion (formerly known as Company D, 109th Aviation), Iowa Army National Guard. The unit is based in Boone, with detachments in Waterloo (Detachment 3) and Davenport (Detachment 4).
The sendoff ceremony is scheduled as follows:
Detachment 4 (Davenport) – 5 p.m. at North Scott High School, 200 South First St., Eldridge, Iowa
Rally Point & Times: Rally point will be at the North Scott High School. Rally time 3:30 PM with Briefing at 3:50 PM Flag line up there after. All other info such as escort will be given at the Briefing.
