We have been invited by the command of the 4th Marine Maintenance Bn, Rock Island, IL to participate in a send off escort for members of their unit deploying to Iraq on Wednesday, 04 Jun 08.
 
Rally Point:  QCCA Expo Center, 2621 4th Ave, Rock Island, IL

Rally Time:  Wednesday 04 Jun 08, 0630 hrs., PRB 0700 hrs., KSU immediately to head to the R.I. Arsenal Naval Reserve Center.

THANK YOU! 4th Marine Maint. Bn. I am sooooo proud of all of you. I will be working hard to try and get there to help send you off. God's blessings and may He put His arms around you while you are gone.

'No Greater Love is this that a man is willing to lay down his life for another.' Only two men were willing to sacrifice their lives for us-Jesus Christ and the American Soldier. Neither of which can ever fully be repaid.

Thank you for your Service and my Freedoms. Your sacrifices will never go unnoticed. I am grateful to live in a country made up of volunteers like you. Your choice to protect our Nation and put your self on the line can never be repaid.

A Prayer for Our Soldiers' Families

Heavenly Father, we pray for the safe return home of our soldiers from Iraq and Afghanistan. We ask that you give our military commanders and political leaders wisdom and courage to fulfill their daunting responsibility. Lord, we implore you to please remember the families of these brave men and women. Bless the wives, parents, children and siblings of our fighting forces and give them solace and comfort. If it be your will, bring their loved ones home swiftly, sound in mind and body.

We pray these things in the name of the Son, the Father and the Holy Ghost,
