Thank you for your willingness to defend the United States of America and her freedoms and interests. Your death brings much sorrow and sadness to the hearts and lives of your family, friends, military brothers and sisters, each and every member of the Patriot Guard Riders, and all who truly appreciate their freedom. We are proud of your service and dedication in that which you believed in and fought for. Your mission is complete. My prayers are that our GOD may bring peace and comfort to all of you during this tragic time. Please know that not just me , but a country full of people like me owe you a debt that can never be repaid. I did not know you, but you fought for the freedom we all enjoy, you put it all on the line and made the sacrifice and for that alone I am honored to be one of the PGR that will be standing in respect at the Veterans Memorial on the 11th.

As I sit here thinking of the service for my father Kenneth "HAPPY" Andrews on Friday July 11th, I can only think of the massive Sister and Brotherhood that has been created by our Military and non-Military counterparts.
My Family was honored and blessed when they saw the escort motorcycles arrive in Red Cliff, WI to transport my Fathers remains and the feelings they experienced when they arrived at the Northern WI. Memorial Cemetery in Spooner, WI., and saw those of you standing the flag line in honor of our Father.
THANK YOU!!!!!
I want to say a special "THANK YOU" to the AMERICAN PATRIOT RIDERS for escorting my Fathers Ashes from Red Cliff, WI to the Northern Wi. Memorial Cemetery in Spooner, WI. Bruce Chiccese from TEENS for CHRIST in Hudson, WI. For providing the escort vehicle (the look on my Mothers face when she saw us will remain etched in my memories forever) thanks Bruce. I also want to Thanks to the Members of the MN PATRIOT GUARD RIDERS for coming to honor my Father. I want to say "THANK YOU" to Gene James for setting up the flag line at the cemetery and the WI PATRIOT GUARD RIDERS for showing Honor and Respect to my Father.
A Special Thank You goes out to my 1st cousin Robert Goslin for performing the Pipe Ceremony and Smudging as well as singing with my Brother Martin "Peter" Andrews the Native American Honor song in remembrance of our Father.
Thanks goes out to Travis Albrecht for the Christian Service in Honor of my Father, THANK YOU!!
So now I need to thank those of you who took time out of your day and lives to come and honor a special man, my Father. Allot of you claimed it was an Honor to be there but you may never know the HONOR that I felt, knowing that you would come and honor someone who's only attribute was to served his country, his Family and his people.
I didn't cry when He died, but yesterday, July 11th, tears came during the service and from seeing all of you there. GOD BLESS each and everyone of you.

Mission report from Minnesota PGR, Duluth sector
There
were five local PGR members who were able to leave Duluth with 48
degrees, fog and drizzle to attend this mission. We soon were pulled
over to the side of the road just south of Superior to shed our
leathers as the weather was approaching the 80s. We were met by several
other members of the PGR and the American Patriot Riders once we
arrived. Some 30 in all who came together to show tribute
to the family of Kenneth J. Andrews. We established a flag line to
greet the escort arriving from the Bayfield area as they entered into
the Veterans Memorial Cemetery. We then greeted our fellow members for
a short briefing and we proceeded to the pavilion where the ceremony
was about to begin. The family soon entered the outdoor pavilion with
the military full honors present. The ceremony consisted of a two
parts, both military and Native American to follow. As the military
presented the family with the flag you could see the emotion spread
through the flag line. Later after the ceremony had ended each of the
family members greeted and thanked the member personally for attending
their father's services. Flag line was dismissed and as we had said our
goodbyes to our fellow members we were back on the road once again
pulling over at a convenient location to put our leathers back on as
the weather had once again dropped to the mid 40s. Oh did I mention the
45-65mph wind gusts that helped you along the way.
