SHORT NOTICE MISSION
The family of CLINTON FLOYD ROSAMOND, US Army Korean War Veteran has requested the PGR to stand and honor their hero. This will be a 2-part mission with the funeral services near BATESVILLE, MS and graveside services near BALDWYN, MS. The PGR will provide flag lines for both locations, however, due to the distance between the locations, there will be no organized procession between the funeral services and the graveside services.
FUNERAL SERVICES: First Faith Church; 3254 Sardis Lake Drive; Batesville, MS; STAGING Thursday, May 8 at 1:00 PM (1300 hrs) at the church for the funeral services at 2:00 PM (1400 hrs).
GRAVESIDE SERVICES: Ingram Baptist Church Cemetery; Ingram Road; Baldwyn, MS; STAGING Thursday, May 8 at 4:00 PM (1600 hrs) at the church for the graveside services at approximately 4:30-5:00 PM.
3' X 5' US Flags on 8' poles will be available at both locations, please come out to either or both locations as we stand and honor one who was willing to stand for us.

I'm standing Thursday at the graveside services. It will be my honor and considered my duty to be there for the family and community of Clinton F. Rosamond.
This will be a reciprocal mission, and hopefully some of our other west Tennessee folks can make it to Mississippi for this on either side of the mission. I think we'll have some for the funeral home portion, as there are a lot of west TN PGR in/around Memphis. I put the word out to most all of our folks in west tenn.
I look forward to providing the best support I can for the family. |

Let us not forget that MR Rosamond fought against the violent spread of communism. He served his country, but when he was engaging the enemy, he did it for the freedom loving people of Korea and the world. He is a hero to be shared by all such people whom he helped defend. The world owes him thanks and we shall deliver those thanks with our presence. We shall represnt a grateful nation and world this week, and we should all not forget that.
I look forward to rendering a final salute to such a man. |

| I arrived at Corinth MS and went to Tom Watson's home. From there, the two of us rode into Baldwyn. We were 2 of 10 mixed American Legion members and PGR.
A short graveside ceremony happened after all arrived from the funeral. The rain held off, the wind was cool and the flags flew briskly.
The family greeted us and let us know they were proud to have us there. This nation and the entire worlld owes this man the respect we showed today.
I want to thank the family for allowing us the distinct priveledge of standing with you in final tribute to a man who in most cases probably would say he was not worthy of such attention.
Doc Lee has been trying for years to find a mission in MS to attend. Finally, one came along that fit my schedule. I am very lucky to have been part of this today.
May the family be comforted by our presence and again THANKYOU to everyone who participated.
