The family of Roy L. Axtell, has asked for the Patriot Guard Riders to be apart of the services for Roy. The service will be at 2:00 PM at the Methodist Church in Eagle Grove Iowa. May 03, 2008

My sincere condolences to the family of Roy Axtell on his passing. His involvement in protecting our freedom during his military service is a legacy that is passed along to the next generation. We thank not only him, but his family as well for the bravery, commitment, and sacrifices that were involved. Rest now in peace Roy.

Our heart-felt condolences to the Axtell family and friends in the loss of Roy. Thank you for his service to this great country. Our prayers go out to God for you in this time of loss. Roy served to give us the freedom we now enjoy so much and for that he is one of the GREAT AMERICAN HEROS of the land. God bless your family and friends.
