Wounded Soldier SFC Steve Holloway

Ken and Susan Holloway, Alliance, have invited the PGR to honor their son SFC Steve Holloway who was seriously wounded by a sniper in Mosul, Iraq on January 15, 2007, while aiding another injured soldier. This will be his first visit home to Nebraska since he was injured.

 

The PGR will escort SFC Steve Holloway to the welcome home reception at the Fire Hall. There will be a flag line as he arrives at the Fire Hall. The PGR is invited to attend the 2pm open house reception.

 

 

DATE: Sunday May 4, 2005

 

STAGE TIME: 12:30

 

STAGE LOCATION:  Cenex Gas Station, Hiway 385 & 3rd Street, West edge of Alliance NE

 

RIDERS MEETING: 1pm

 

CLUTCHES OUT: 1:15pm

 

There will be two groups leaving the CENEX station. One group will go directly to the fire hall to set up the flag line and the other group will escort SFC Holloway and his family.

 

 

The Alliance Fire Hall is located at 4th and Cheyenne.  Open house is scheduled for 2pm

I was at this mission today. We had over 70 bikes in attendance. Roger Clark did an excellant job organizing and directing the mission. As descirbed in the mission post, we broke into two groups. Those who did the flag line at the fire house did an excellant job. The flag line was an awesome sight to behold. I did get to shake SFC Holloway's hand and welcome him home. It was an honor to ride with all of you from Nebraska to welcome home an American Hero. Welcome home Steve Holloway!

What a great team in Greater Nebraska! Thank you Rodger Clark and Thanks to all of you that came out to honor and respect SFC Steve Holloway and his family. You good people even had our 5 state PGR Highplains Regional Captain Lance and a couple of others do a 280 round trip from South Dakota.
