On Wednesday, 27 April 08 Dennis and Teri Lavery were out enjoying the day while riding on their recently purchased Harley. A truck pulled out in front of them and tragically, Dennis and Teri lost their lives. Dennis and Teri are both Army Vets and leave behind a 14 year old son.
The family has requested PGR presence to stand in honor of these two veterans. This ceremony will be conducted with double caskets as these veterans will be placed in their final resting place as husband and wife.
Please join me in honoring Dennis and Teri Lavery.
Date: Tuesday, 29 April 08
Location: McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, 100 S. Goose Creek Blvd, Goose Creek, SC
Flag line stand up: 1630 - 2000
Date: Wednesday, 30 April 08
Location: McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, 100 S. Goose Creek Blvd, Goose Creek, SC
Flag line stand up: 1230 – 1300
When the funeral service begins, the PGR flag line will be stood down and we will motor to Carolina Memorial Gardens which is located at
71113 Rivers Ave, N. Charleston, SC 29406
The flag line will stand up at the grave site at approximately 1345 and remain until service concludes.

To the Friends, Family, and Comrades of the Laverys, I offer my sincere condolences on the loss of this husband and wife who lost their lives together doing what they loved to do, riding. I pray that God will keep you and Bless you in this terrible time of loss.
Dennis and Terri, thank you for your Service and Sacrifice to this Country by both volunteering and serving in the United States Army. Stand easy, Soldiers, we have the patrol now. You will not be forgotten. Ride In Peace. |

| I would like to extend my deepest condolences to the family and friends of this American Hero's who stood tall for their homeland in this very sad time in your lives, but remember that you knew these hero's first hand while the rest of us just get to hear about their heroic deeds. My prayers are that our GOD may bring peace and comfort to all of you during this tragic time. Please know that not just me , but a country full of people like me owe you a debt that can never be repaid. But please know that your loved ones are now serving in the Army of our LORD in heaven, and the LORD said if I go to prepare a place for you, I will come again and recieve you unto myself that where I am there you may be also. Your loved ones are HERO'S, they were willing to serve that the rest of us may enjoy the freedom we do today, and the sacrifice you and your family have endured so our nation can remain the home of the free because of the brave. Me and my family are saddened for the loss of these two veterans and wonderful parents. The Laverys were aquaintences of ours and and our boys played ball together in the past.
