"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself."

| Ride Report. Good day, battled some tuff 30 mph + cross winds but it was well worth it. 40 bikes showed up to escort these men from Worthington to Sioux City. Thanks to everyone who took time out of their busy schedules to participate and a big THANK YOU to all tha LEO"s who led us from county to county. I think these guys were having more fun than us cause they blew their sirens almost all the way. Sioux City Police commadeered the road as we came into town and really brought the attention to the bus as was proper. Good to have all these fine young men back home with their families. Again, Thanks to everyone who participated we couldn't do it with out all of you. Job well done |
