We have been contacted by the father of  LCpl Marshall Truitt, USMC  and our support has been
requested at a Welcome Home on Saturday, April 26th at 1130 hrs (11:30 a.m.) at Spokane International Airport.

LCpl Truitt has been deployed to Iraq for 7 months.  He is a scout and LAV driver in the 3rd LAR, Alpha Company.
When his unit returned to Twenty-Nine Palms his father was there and watched the five buses roll into Victory Field
at 2245 hrs (10:45 p.m.) with a lone Patriot Guard escort. According to Mr. Truitt - "it was an awesome sight".
LCpl Truitt dropped out of college in his senior year "because there was a war going on and I want to be a part of it".
He is now working on his BA and would then like to apply for Officer Candidate School.
His family is extremely proud of this Marine, and rightly so.
