 WELCOME HOME MISSION
Sgt Timothy Lachance & LCpl Jessica Lachance

Panama City, Florida

Friday, May 2, 2008

The Patriot Guard riders have been invited to welcome home Marine Sgt Timothy Lachance and his bride LCpl Jessica Lachance on Friday 02 May 2008. They both recently completed six month tours in Iraq, and were just married 15 March, 2008.

At his parent's request, the Patriot Guard Riders, Legion Riders and VFW Riders will escort the couple from their residence  to the VFW Post in Parker, for a welcome home party in their honor.

The Party starts at 6:00 PM, and entertainment will be furnished by T. Wayne's Karaoke.  There will be plenty of food and snacks, everyone is invited to stay and attend the party if desired, or feel free to give them a warm welcome and be on your way.  The parking lot at this VFW is gravel, so be prepared (it may be a good idea to bring a kick stand pad if you have one … or an old beer can if you don't).  We won't be forming a flag line for this mission, however we encourage you to put your bike mounted flag on if you have one.

Staging location:              2728 Oak Hammock, Panama City, 32401

Staging Time:                   5:00 PM - Friday, May 2, 2008

Briefing:                             5:30 PM

KSU:                                   5:45 PM

This is a feel good mission, come help us welcome the newlyweds home from the sandbox.

Mission Report - Lachance Mission

It was a delight to ride in this simple escort mission honoring two young Marines back from the sand box. 24 bikes showed up for this Friday afternoon mission which included PGR members as well as Legion Riders. Two dedicated Patriot Guard couples from Georgia showed up, they had read about the mission on the national website and were already coming down here for Thunder Beach. Law enforcement escorted us to the VFW in Parker for a welcome home party for the "newlyweds"

What a beautiful young couple, thank God for dedicated Americans like Timothy and Jessica Lachance!

Submitted Respectfully,

Once you go Fat, you never go back!
