This ceremony will begin at 11:00 AM at 170 East Main Street in Patchogue.

The Hicksville staging area (Waldbaums shopping center-North Broadway/Route 106/107 - just south of the NSP exit 35S or the LIE exit 41S) has a KSU time of 09:45 AM.

Part 2

Later that same day there will be a ribbon cutting ceremony on a serenity plaza out at the Lake Ronkonkoma Beach Park which bears Mike’s name (Navy SEAL Lt. Michael P. Mike’s SEAL team and a group from Washington will be in attendance. They expect the Navy Secretary, Dr. Winter to be in attendance and he will be making a major announcement about Mike. This is a great opportunity to honor our heroes and to show Washington, The Navy and Mike’s parents how very much we appreciate everything that our US Military does for us. This ceremony will begin at 2:30 PM.

The staging area for “part two” will be the Ronkonkoma train station parking lot. (LIE Exit 60 South on Ronkonkoma Ave.) This is the Google map link

Mission Complete : What a great day. With the weather being clear and in the high 70s and the Navy Secretary, Dr. Winter telling Michaels family and the world that the name of the newest Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer will be Michael Murphy. http://www.defenselink.mil/releases/release.aspx?releaseid=11902 .
