My deepest sympathy to the family and friends of SPC Botello. We thank him and stand tall and silent in respect for his service. Prayer to the Holy Spirit Come, Holy Spirit, Replace the tension within me with a holy relaxation. Replace the turbulence within me with a sacred calm. Replace the anxiety within me with a quiet confidence. Replace the fear within me with a strong faith. Replace the bitterness within me with a sweetness of grace. Replace the darkness within me with a gentle light. Replace the coldness within me with loving warmth. Replace the night within me with Your day. Replace the winter within me with Your Spring. Straighten my crookedness. Fill my emptiness. Dull the edge of my pride. Sharpen the edge of my humility. Light the fires of my love. Quench the flames of my lust. Let me see myself as YOU see me. That I may see You as You have promised. And be healed according to Your Word. "Blessed are the pure of heart, for they shall see God." Amen. May the LORD bless your family and hold SPC Botello in the palm of his hands. Sincerely, PGRLDY (Diane Heidorn)

With deepest respect for the fallen soldiers that have served our country well.

Standing in spirit for our hero, Spc. Brian Botello. He will never be forgotten.

Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you: 1. Jesus Christ. 2. The American G.I. One died for your soul, the other for your Freedom.

Hi Gary - I am the CMA guy from Moville. Just wondering if there will be a flagline for the mission at Alta. I always pass PGR info on to the CMA Chapter at Sioux City and folks are wondering. Blessings Bob Baldwin

They are going to do a prayer card ceremony at dusk , and I thought a flag line at that time would be appropriate.

As it stands right now , there are going to be prayer cards attatched to balloons. At dusk , these balloons will be released outside. We will have a flag line for these people to walk through to release the balloons.Festivities before that are fairly informal.SPC Botello's mother has invited the PGR as her way of saying thank you for bringing her son home with Dignity and Honor one year ago.

Condolences to the family and friends of SPC Brian Botello.

'No Greater Love is this that a man is willing to lay down his life for another.' Only two men were willing to sacrifice their lives for us-Jesus Christ and the American Soldier. Neither of which can ever fully be repaid.

Thank you for your Service and my Freedoms. Your sacrifices will never go unnoticed. I am grateful to live in a country made up of volunteers like you. Your choice to protect our Nation and put your self on the line can never be repaid.

US Army Infantry, '90-'94

"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself."

Received from the Ride Captain:

The Memorial Ceremony was a huge success. We members of the PGR were welcomed by all who attended. Brian's mother presented each of us a patch in honor of her son.  An extremely informal evening but as the attendees exited the church to release their prayer cards , we had our flag line established for them to walk through. We had 20 members total with 16 bikes.  All in all a huge success.Thank you to all who once again stood the line with me.  God Bless all of you , and God Bless Brian Botello and his family.
