I would like to extend my deepest condolences to the family and friends of this American Hero who stood tall for his homeland in this very sad time in your lives, but remember that you knew a hero first hand while the rest of us just get to hear about their heroic deeds. My prayers are that our GOD may bring peace and comfort to all of you during this tragic time. Please know that not just me , but a country full of people like me owe you a dept that can never be repaid. But please know that your loved one is now serving in the Army of our LORD in heaven, and the LORD said if I go to prepare a place for you, I will come again and recieve you unto myself that where I am there you may be also. Know that it says in the Bible in 2nd Corinthians 5:8 , we are confident I say , willing rather to be absent from the body and present with the LORD. No one can ever say that your loved one isn't a HERO, they were willing to serve that the rest of us may enjoy the freedom we do today, and the sacrifice you and your family have endured so our nation can remain the home of the free because of the brave. We are all brothers and sisters in arms and we don't forget one of our own, rest in peace my comrade, your mission is complete and now it's time for you to rest. May GOD Bless each and everyone of you.

~FINAL MISSION REPORT~ 9 Patriots showed up to honor US Navy Veteran Dennis Twomey. We "stood the line" for 3 hours for him & his family. The weather was mild & spring-like. (Finally getting rid of old man winter here in N.E. Wisconsin!) 4 Army Veterans, 1 Marine,1 Sailor, & 3 dedicated citizens paid their respects. As we stood in front of the Malcore Funeral Home, the Marine whispered for me to look across the street. There was a large Catholic Church that had many large wooden doors that faced us. The wooden doors had window glass in them in the shape of the cross. Our flags were reflected in that glass. It was another special moment that continually occurs at these missions.... About an hour later I noticed a large statue of Jesus that was placed in front of the church across the street.(Larger than life-size) The inscription that was carved in the stone at its base read: "Lest we forget".... I was dumbfounded again- Two rifle squads showed up for the services; first time I ever have witnessed that happen in my 2 years plus as a Sr. Ride Cpt. One was from the AmVets post & the other was from the VFW. Both from Green Bay. They put their heads together & combined the rifle team & did a great job in coordinating the 21 gun salute. A Navy bugler sounded taps. It was a solemn moment in time. It always is.... It was my honor to be in charge of our small band of PGR brothers. I thank them all. This memorial mission for Dennis was my first - and as I let my fellow Wisconsinites know on that thread, it was truly a tremendous experience and an honorable one. My fellow PGR members that I met are wonderful men and true Patriots. I, too, observed from my vantage point the reflections of our flags in the church windows and stood directly across from the 'Lest we Forget' statue of Christ. I don't know if I've ever felt so proud in my life. Thank you for the honor of allowing me to stand with you - and the honor of standing for Dennis Twomey.

"Snake" was my friend and I loved him dearly. I moved away from Green Bay many years ago and Snake was the only one who came to where I lived to see me...2000 miles away. He was my platonic roommate at one time and had a heart of gold bigger than the planet. My son and Snake would play and he would spend time with him when my son's own father neglected him. He watched out for me to make sure that I was safe and if anyone messed with me they would have him to deal with. I just found out today that Snake died and can't believe it's true. He was one of the most wonderful people I ever had the pleasure of knowing am will miss him more than words can say. Tonight I have lit not one but two candles for him and pray that he is now in a place where he can ride and be free for eternity... Dennis, my friend, my brother. I LOVE YOU and will miss you dearly until the day comes that God reuinites us again....My Love Always, Your Sister In Spirit Always, Karen
