I pray that God will grant you peace and closure. I am thankful beyond words for your son's commitment to democracy. I am sorrowful beyond reason that his commitment was total. I will list your son as one of my American heros.

What do we live for if not to make the world less difficult for each other?

Our heart felt condolences to the Matthew family and friends in the loss of Keith. Thank you for his service to this great country. Our prayers go out to God for you in this time of loss. Keith served to give us the freedom we now enjoy so much and for that he is one of the GREAT AMERICAN HEROS of the land. God bless your family and friends. Wish I could have shaken his hand and told him thank you myself. God tells us that “Greater love hath no man than this that a man lay down his life for his friends.” (John 15:13) As Christ our Lord laid down His life for us that believe in Him for salvation, so your love one has laid down his life for us for our freedom. This act has made him a Super Hero in my heart and I thank-you deeply for this sacrifice made for our freedoms. I pray that God will now bless your lives and help you see how great a thing this is which your loved one has done. The FALLEN MILITARY MEMBER has shown this country his greatest love for country and friends

My heartfelt condolences to Carolyn, Keith, Micah, and Matts extended family and friends. How proud you must be for both of your sons and their service, as we are all so proud of them. I just wish that your son Matt had a different kind of homecoming. May you find peace and comfort knowing that your son is coming home. Matt, thank you for your service and sacrifiice. It is with a very heavy heart I post this.
My most sincere, deepest condolences to the family and friends of HERO MATT MAUPIN.
May our ALMIGHTY GOD embrace you all with HIS great love and give you the comfort to see you through this sad hour.
Matt has been in my prayers as well as all of you. He has taken his place in GOD'S HALL OF HEROS now. He has served his time in hell...
If at all possible, I will be there to stand PROUD for this HERO.
GOD BLESS YOU ALL.

A mother's son
So young and brave
Went off to war
His country to save

He never complained
He always stood tall
And in a battle
He gave his all

This BRAVE warrior fell
In a land far away
America lost a HERO
That fateful day

He is coming home
He will be here before long
His mother waits
She tries to be strong

When he arrives
The PGR will be there
To help the family
With this burden to bear

We will fly our flags
As we have for years
Our hearts will be heavy
Our eyes filled with tears

The rumble of our bikes
Will be heard across the land
America will know
It's the PGR taking the stand

The bugle plays TAPS
The rifles will sound
We will stand silent
Our tears on the ground

When this brave warrior
Is laid to rest
We will stand proud
For America's best.

With pride and respect
And honor too
For this great HERO
It's the least we can do

His memory must not fade
His sacrifice must never dim
We are still free
Because of HEROS like him

My deepest condolences to Keith, Carolyn and  Micah Maupin on the news about SSG Keith Matthew Maupin.

We have all become a part of Keith and Carolyn's extended family.  Our hearts continue to go out to them with the latest news of Matt.  Though this is not the news we all hoped for, it gives the Maupin family and friends some final answers.

Matt is a Hero to all of us and paid the ultimate sacrifice to defend our country and way of life.  He has finally been set free and can now rest in peace at the right hand of God.  He has earned this place of honor.

Rest in peace my brother.  I will be standing in honor of you as you have stood in honor for all of us.
